Stephanie Rizzardi, Principal Economist
Since 1985 Ms. Rizzardi has offered expert economic consulting on an estimated 2,500 cases, providing court testimony in about 300 plus cases throughout California, in both Superior Court and District Court.
Ms. Rizzardi started her expert forensic career in 1985 when she joined IBAR Settlement Company, Inc. as an associate economist. During her tenure with IBAR she trained and supervised other economists and acted as Assistant Vice President from 1989 to 1993. In 1996, she left IBAR as a Vice President and Senior Associate Economist and began Rizzardi Economic Associates. As Principal Economist, Ms. Rizzardi provides expert analysis and testimony on personal injury, wrongful death, employment, insurance bad faith and business-related damages cases.
She has spoken before the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Fresno County Trial Lawyers Association, MCLE Class for Farmers Insurance Group and other groups.
Ms. Rizzardi completed her BA in Economics at the University of California, San Diego and her MBA, with a concentration in Finance, at the Claremont Graduate University. She has also completed additional coursework at the Claremont Graduate University, Center for Politics and Economics, in a Ph.D. Economics program.
She belongs to the American Rehabilitation Economics Association, for which she held the position of Internal Vice President from 1999-2000, the National Association for Forensic Economics and the American Academy of Economic and Financial Experts. Ms. Rizzardi has participated in various professional conferences. Ms. Rizzardi also holds a CEA (Certified Earnings Analyst) certificate from the American Rehabilitation Economics Association.
